MRW believes that the health and safety of all employees comes
first above all else. The company is committed to do everything within its power to protect
employees and prevent injuries or illness in the workplace. A healthy and safe workplace will
benefit the company and workers.
Supervisors are responsible to ensure employees are trained in approved work procedures and
receive proper instruction in the use and safe handling of equipment and products. Supervisors
will make every effort to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
All personnel will be responsible for the effective implementation of every aspect of the
company safety policies and must bring to the attention of management any condition and/or
practice not in agreement with these policies. Each employee must personally conduct
him/herself in a manner that promotes safe conditions and actions.
All relevant laws and regulations although not specifically stated in each policy are
incorporated as a minimum standard.
MRW's Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) meets monthly to review safety issues, conduct
workplace inspections, and develop policies in accordance with all applicable legislations.
