M. R. Wright & Associates Co. Ltd. (MRW) is a versatile consulting engineering firm providing a comprehensive range of engineering services to a wide variety of clientele including small private companies, large industry, municipalities, contractors and developers throughout Northern Ontario.

Since being established in 1961, MRW has earned a reputation for providing quality engineering services through a teamwork approach with our clients and staff. MRW is an employee owned firm providing engineering consulting services in the civil, environmental, structural and geotechnical disciplines. MRW also operates a Canadian Standards Association certified materials testing laboratory to service specific needs of the construction industry for quality control of soils, aggregates, concrete and asphalt.

MRW’s staff currently consists of six (6) registered professional engineers and twenty (20) project managers, draftsmen, engineering technicians, technologists and administrative personnel. Our staff is committed to providing high quality engineering services to clients throughout Northern Ontario. We plan to continue to be a locally owned, profitable engineering firm by building on our expertise and maintaining an energetic work force in an enjoyable work atmosphere. Building on the experience and reputation of MRW, we will remain dedicated to ensuring client satisfaction and the overall longevity of the company. MRW’s soils and materials testing laboratory offers not only a wide range of in-house laboratory testing services for soils, aggregate and construction materials, using up to date equipment and approved methods, but also provides field testing and sample collection services to meet all of our clients construction and geotechnical needs.
